This was fully implemented at one point but hadn't been committed to source control and sadly all the code has been lost. This is a required basis for the Provenance plugin (also lost) and Social Media plugin (yet to be developed).

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
